Having travelled extensively through our business and personal lives, we felt well qualified on how a bed and breakfast should not be run! We can match any of your Bed and Breakfast/Hotel nightmare stories and then some! We were determined to do things differently when we started our B&B and set about creating what we hope is the ideal place to stay.
We believe that people choose to stay in a Bed and Breakfast because they do not want the impersonal feeling that a hotel gives. They want to feel they have truly stayed in the area and have learnt and seen more than they would normally. They want to stay somewhere where the owner personally sees to everything and who has a vested interest in ensuring that they are happy. When we first established Craigend Bed and Breakfast we did so with all this in mind and a list of personal goals gleaned from our own travelling experiences.
