Cash Payments
Payment can be made in cash in GBP Stirling
Credit/Debit Card Payments
Here at Craigend Bed and Breakfast we have a Credit Card Machine which means we can quickly action your Card Payments on site and over the phone. However, due to increased Bank Charges we are now no longer able to bear the entire cost of card transactions. From the 1st June 2009 we will now be charging a 2% handling fee on the card totals, which still only represents part of our total card charges. This fee will not be applied to deposit payments.
We accept the following major credit/debit cards; Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo and Visa Electron. We are able to accept American Express, but due to very high charges this would be subject to a 6% handling fee.
Cheque PaymentS
Payment can be made by cheque in Pounds Sterling drawn on a UK bank. Cheques must not exceed the value shown on your Cheque Guarantee Card. Please make your cheque payable to 'Craigend Bed and Breakfast'.
BACS Payments
For those with digital banking we are happy to accept BACS payments for deposit payments. Those wishing to pay for their entire stay by BACS should do so 14 days in advance and by prior arrangement. Bank details will be made available at time of booking.
Cancellations
Important: Reservations cannot be guaranteed without pre-payment or receipt of an agreed deposit. Cancellations will be charged as follows: within 14 days of arrival: 25% of reservation value (or first night cost, whichever is the higher); within 7 days of arrival: 50% of reservation value (or first night cost, whichever is the higher); within 48 hours of arrival: 75% of reservation value (or first night cost, whichever is the higher); within 24 hours of arrival: 100% of reservation value. If you are concerned about the possibility of cancellation we recommend that you take out Travel Insurance

We will require a deposit in order to guarantee your booking; this is normally £25 per room booked or 20% of the reservation value (whichever is the higher), and can be paid by cheque, BACS, cash or by credit card. See above for further details of each option. Deposits are non-refundable (unless we have to cancel your booking for reasons outside our control, in which case we will refund all monies received).
