We do not provide evening meals here at Craigend but are happy to recommend or book local restaurants on your behalf.

Our recommendations should you wish to book in advance are;

The Sorn Inn - Hight St, Sorn, Ayrshire - 01290 551 305 Website The Sorn Inn
Our favourite restaurant.  The Sorn Inn is about 40 minutes from Craigend, but with every award going (including a Michelin Bib Gourmand) and recommendations in some of the best restaurant guides it is well worth the 40 minute drive.  Ingredients are locally sourced and everything including the yummy deserts is made from scratch, on site.  Lunch or Dinner is available every day except Mondays

Rissons at Springvale - Lethame Road, Strathaven - 01357 520 234 Website Rissons
This AA Rosette restaurant offers the best of Scottish Cuisine which won't break the bankRecently refurbished, it is  a lovely relaxing restaurant which is worth the drive

Douglas Arms - Douglas - This pub in the villiage of Douglas has just repopened after refurbishment and now has a new restaurant and new menu.  Reports from guests who have eaten there have been good so far.  The pub is only 10 minutes away so there is now something much closer to Craigend however food is not served on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and the pub is regularly used for Private Functions so it is worth checking availability.

Additionally we have access to local Indian and Chinese takeaways and will provide crockery, cutlery and condiments in our dining room.
